You may notice the effect as very slight, mildly uncomfortable, or painfully warm.
You may experience something like an invisible hand suddenly gripping an arm, leg, or foot.
Regardless of the exact perception, here's how to mitigate it and then completely stop it with a little additional experimentation.
What you'll need:
- Pieces of sheet metal - enough to cover the area you want to mitigate
- A single large sheet is better than multiple small ones no matter how you try to arrange them
- One of more DC electromagnets - these will be used to "iron out" an electromagnetic oscillation (it's the oscillation part that's the issue)
- Lifting force can vary from 500 to 2000 newtons, which is around the point that expense rapidly increases.
- Standardize on 12 volts DC if you have large area to cover - reuse of components
Test a basic setup by setting one of the pieces of sheet metal on a surface that's misbehaving.
Place one of the DC electromagnets on a corner of the sheet and power it on.
You should immediately notice any effects dropping off in intensity though probably not stopping entirely.
